Family up-to-dates...

Haven't posted in a while, so here what's new.

Billy lost his bottom 2 front teeth within a week of each other. He was so proud.

Eliza, not to be out done, tells us each day that she has loose teeth that are ready to come out too.

Yesterday, Tina went up to Park City with some of the other wives in the squadron. Bill took the kids out to lunch and then bowling. Billy decided to try and hand from one of the ball roller things that helps kids roll the ball down the lane. It came apart and the 1/2 inch metal tub stabbed Billy in the face barely missing his eye. His face exploded with blood and daddy had to rush him to the bathroom as people were starting to freak out. The cut was pretty deep and long, not to mention that it was on his lower eyelid. Bill took him to Urgent Care where they said he needed stitches but they were "too afraid" to stick a needle that close to his eye. So Bill drove him over to Ogden to the ER and after the standard 2 hr wait the finally decided on some glue to close the gap. It was a long day of waiting around. Poor kid.

While we had all that time to talk we the kids wanted to know what Holidays were in spring. Easter was the first one we talked about:

Daddy: "Easter is the celebration of Jesus Christ being resurrected after 3 days of being dead. "

Billy: "What does the Easter Bunny have to do with Jesus being resurrected?"

Daddy: "I have no idea."

Eliza: "Well, when Jesus was resurrected he was very hungry after being dead for so long, so the Easter Bunny came over to the tomb and dropped off some eggs to eat."

Billy: "Oh, now that makes sense."

They are so cute!

Your kids are so smart!! Give Billy a kiss for me. That looks like a very painful injury. Superglue is the new injury fixer for stuff like that any more.

Poor Billy!! I hope his eye heals quickly! LOVE how they are showing off their little gaps where their teeth used to be and the ones they are about to loose. So cute! And the conversation about the Easter bunny and Jesus was very cute and refreshing to read. I love kid's innocence in all things!
